Guanacaste Fishing ReportsNovember is the transition month between rainy season into the dry season. Some showers are expected; however, the good seas conditions and no windy days let us enjoy offshore charters as well as inshore charters North into the gulf of Papagayo where windy conditions are strongers. So, be ready to enjoy suny morning and sometimes some showers in the afternoon. - This time the Mono boat and Arnaldo Mendez departed from Riu Guanacaste with Steve Saunders and 3 more friends for a full day. They landed one sailfish in the morning and after noon they came to the shore and released two nice roosterfish.
- The Albacoras captain Gimbo, was offshore fishing with a couple who was staying at the Riu Guanacaste, by the end of the day released three sailfish. Fishing out of Occidental Grand Papagayo on October 19th - Arnaldo Mendez aboard the MONO boat was fishing with Craig Homes and 3 more friends. They were deep sea fishing in the morning with no success; in the afternoon they decided to fish for roosterfish and landed a 50pounds and some other jacks.
